well, for a few months I've had my eTickets purchased to fly back to my apartment in Spain. I cannot wait to get back to live alone and be back with friends, though I do have a heck of a LOT o work to do in cleaning and making repairs to the place.

just purchased a brand new Canon EOS 7D too, though my major and primary lens: Sigma 28-300 DG 3.5 - 6.3 is broke yet again!! after ONLY a few months of use, the barrel-lock switch broke, so I was promised a fast turnover if I sent it to sigma in NY; after 20+ days of use, I discover now the barrel lock works great BUT now the focus ring is loose and shaky, giving me half-focused images. I've emailed Sigma saying I am NOT happy with the lens and want a total refund.

to make matters worse, it is my primary lens to use for a friend's wedding in Sydney Australia in a few weeks!!
